In this issue, we celebrate the Yasuní people's victory on Question D of the referendum. We present an exclusive interview with Carlos M. Beristain, Truth Commissioner in various countries and Expert before the Inter-American Court, who analyzes the conclusions of his psychosocial report, prepared at the request of NAWE (Waorani Nationality of Ecuador), on the impact of the oil industry on the Waorani people.

We also highlight the workshop held in Yasuní territory, which included the participation of experts Andrés Gómez and Roberto Ochandio, along with leaders and representatives of the Waorani and Kichwa communities.

Juan Bay, president of NAWE, submitted a request for follow-up to the Court's ruling. This ruling orders the Ecuadorian State to suspend oil activities and adopt immediate measures to protect Waorani territory, including those of Indigenous peoples in isolation, as well as to restore natural resources.
