In this edition, we feature an interview with Andrés Gómez, a petroleum engineer from the National University of Colombia and current Coordinator for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty. Gómez explains in detail the technical process involved in the closure and decommissioning of oil wells and fields. We also highlight the important humanitarian work carried out by a medical brigade from NAWE (Waorani Nationality of Ecuador) in the Waorani Community of Gareno.
